Find your Hidden posts

Find your hidden posts

If you have a Facebook page for your business, you may not realise a new-ish feature on pages. Facebook looks at posts people put on your wall and judges some of them as spam.

Now, as with every automated system, they sometimes get it wrong. So, how do you find your hidden posts?

It’s quite simple, under the logo or image you have put up for your page, there are a series of options, one of those is called “Hidden Posts” under the “Wall” option.

Hidden posts option

Click on this and it will bring up a list of all the hidden posts on your wall. Next to each post there is an icon that looks a bit like a star or a cog. Click on that and you have the option of removing the post, removing the post and banning the user (useful for people who spam your wall), unhiding the post or reporting the post as abuse.

Whether you remove the post or unhide it is completely up to you and the sorts of posts you want on your wall.

Every week I aim to check the hidden posts at least once, to catch any posts on my wall that are not spam, and to remove the ones that are.

So, don’t forget your Hidden Posts page and check it regularly, you never know what you might be missing.
