Hobby to Business - Get help
ByNo man or business mum is an island. Quite a few times I’ve heard people tell me that the business can only grow as big as the owner - unless he, or she, gets some help.
The first thing I ever outsourced was my bookkeeping. It was a task that I hated, so would always end up at the bottom of the list & was hopelessly out of date (or so I thought). Once I got a bookkeeper in, my accounts are reconciled every month and I know where I stand.
There are many different ways you can get help. It may be outsourcing tasks to a virtual assistant, recruiting your kids to help pack orders, bringing in a staff member, or getting sales consultants to sell your products.
Getting help also doesn’t need to cost you a lot of money. For example, if you are worried about having enough work for a full or part time administration assistant, hire a virtual assistant for the hours you need help. If you want your phone’s answered by a real person instead of an answering machine, look in to getting a virtual receiption service rather than hiring someone to be in your office when you are out.
If you want to grow your business to bigger than you, then get some help. Not only will you see results in your business, but with the right people around you, you will find your stress levels decrease and you will enjoy family life more.
