Saying thank you

I know I have blogged about this before, but I just came across a great post by Elena over at EP Designs. Just before Christmas she had a giveaway on her blog, and the winner of the grand prize sent her a wonderful thank you gift. Elena has included details, including photos of the gift on her blog here.

Saying thank you and sending cards and gifts is something we don’t do nearly enough. In this case, the prize winner got some promotion for her business too because not only did Elena include the details of the gift on her blog, she also linked to the senders website. There are a lot of different ways you can say thank you, including:

• Send a card in the mail
• Send an e-card
• Send an email
• Send a gift
• Post on your blog, website, Facebook or Twitter
• Make a phone call

You can also say thank you for many different things. These are a few ideas for your business:

• placing an order
• unexpected links to your site or blog
• testimonials
• support
• for being a great supplier

Start thinking about who you can say thank you to today and say it to them.
