Errors - making fun?
ByTechnology - gotta love it when it works, but it doesn’t always do what you want it to.
Recently I was reading the EP Designs blog, and came across a recent post called “Excuse Me While I Change“. In it, Elena makes a joke about her “techno accidentals” that resulted in her normal template disappearing and requiring her to update the look of her blog before she was ready.
The thing I loved about this post was how Elena made light of the situation while explaining it to her readers.
When something gets “broken” on your website or blog, how do you handle it? Do you stress about it or make light of it so people can laugh with you?

It’s all well and good when it’s your own website - what about when it’s your client’s?
Somehow managed to lose a fair chunk of data copying over into a new build. OK - she’s a historian doing indexing, so the lists are LOOOOOOOOOOONG! Luckily an old family friend, so all is forgiven.
Any tips? Although hopefully, we’ve learned the hard way to check 100% of material.

Oh no Cath!
My biggest tip would be to make sure you back things up before moving them over.
